Also with the subcarrier

Hello, is not frequency subcarrier, it's selector for NTSC / PAL for RGB encoder. All it's automatic with Delta SmartWavethepratz a écrit : lun. 25 mai 2026 22:08 Can anybody tell me what the SP point on the EARLY PU-8 is ? Is that the subcarrier frequency of 4,43 / 3,57 Mhz ?

Thanks for the answer. Yes I know and I already ordered one for the PU-8 early. But I still want to understand it especially the difference of one more solder point to the PU-8 late or the PU-18. So to my understanding these are the solder points of the PU-8 early doing. Is that correct? And how does it select NTSC / PAL for RGB encoder? Just a high and low (0/1) ?Xrider a écrit : mar. 26 mai 2026 21:26Hello, is not frequency subcarrier, it's selector for NTSC / PAL for RGB encoder. Yes quite different indeed. Because normally I mod my consoles with a RP2040 zero and a Si5351 for IGR and DFO. But on my PU-8 early I get a nasty screwed up picture. So Basically I want to make my cheapassXrider a écrit : jeu. 28 mai 2026 19:36 Hello,
The SmartWave for PU-7 and PU-8 Early is very different from the other versions.
It is not simply based on a High or Low signal level.
Why do you need this information exactly ?
